After 40 plus years in the restaurant business, both as an executive chef and a restaurant owner, Chef Lerman found that customers were in search of more than just nourishment…they sought a dining adventure, a new taste or a novel presentation. To that end, Chef Lerman consistently brought a creative approach to every detail of his work, with special focus on salad dressings and sauces. His efforts resulted in a large number of customer requests to purchase these dressings for home use. In an effort to satisfy these requests, the Chef Lerman Salad Dressing Company was created in 1999.
The dressings and sauces are prepared without preservatives, are acidified and deemed shelf stable. Chef Lerman creations are all locally produced using the finest natural ingredients resulting in a very balanced and pleasing flavor.
Chef Lerman’s sauces were selected as Best Specialty Food at the 2012 Rochester Festival of Food Best Taste Contest.
