Phase 3

FINGER LAKES FOODIE AWARDS

Over 100 foodies gathered at Finger Lakes Community College to celebrate the first ever Finger Lakes Foodie Awards on Monday, March 18, 2013.  And what a night it was!

We enjoyed a cocktail hour highlighting Native American cuisine and wines from the Canandaigua Wine Trail, we were entertained with live jazz from the John Nyerges Trio, we celebrated the winners and top nominees of this year’s Food Revolution, and we heard from leading revolutionary voices, including Susan Noble of the Food Technology Farm in Geneva, Peter Jemison of Ganondagan Native American Historic Site and Jamie Rotter of Finger Lakes Community College’s Culinary Arts Program.  To everyone who made it out for the Foodie Awards despite the end-of-winter weather, we were so happy to have you!

The list below shows the honorees of the night, but the Revolution, in it’s entirety, aims to celebrate the entire Finger Lakes region for its unique, innovative, and fresh perspective on wine & culinary.

Now, it’s time to hit the foodie trail running as we plan for the coming months of the Finger Lakes Food Revolution.  But, as usual, we need YOU.

Tell us what you thought of this year’s Food Revolution – what you liked, what didn’t quite satisfy your foodie fancy, and what you’d like to see next time around!  You can do this all here: www.fingerlakesfoodrevolution.com/foodie-feedback.

We look forward to hearing from you, and coming back even stronger to give the Finger Lakes culinary scene the credit it deserves!
