Juniper brings locally grown ingredients and global influences together in exciting new ways, pairing familiar tastes with new flavors.

Co-owner and executive chef of Juniper, Kate has been an integral part of the Buffalo food scene for the past 15 years. Working her way through kitchens, she has developed her own unique style with no formal culinary training. She enjoys cooking with different types of game and most recently has taken on the challenges of elk and boar. Her favorite foods to eat are peanut butter and jelly, anything her mom makes for her and Tang slushies. When Kate is prepping food at Juniper, she enjoys listening to Iron and Wine, Franz Ferdinand, and 90s love ballads. In her free time, Kate enjoys snowboarding.
