The Naples Hotel is an 1895 historic Federal style building located on Main Street in the Village of Naples.  Here chefs Gretta Pagorek and Lizzi Clearman team up to offer a "flowing" bistro type menu that reflects seasonal tastes and the freshest local products.


Lizzi Clearman is executive chef for The Naples Hotel. 4-H and her mother’s cooking fostered her interest in cooking – which she now has been doing for 24 years. Lizzi honed her skills and graduated from the Cincinnati School of Culinary Arts with some of her early experiences being in the Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole, Wyoming.


When Lizzi, a native Finger Laker, returned to this area she was inspired by the Finger Lakes Culinary Bounty and the connections that are being made between chefs and farmers. Her favorite food, you ask? She likes the challenge and surprise of what the farmer may have to offer that is “ripe now” and enjoys the rewards of her guests’ comments when they try something new. There are 46 mountains in New York State and when she’s not cooking or gardening, Lizzi and her family might be found climbing one of those as they reach for their goal of hiking all of them.
